Hello, I'm Miah Abdullah Sahriar. Fresh from graduating with an undergraduate degree in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), I'm here to share the exciting experience of my academic journey. My final year at BUET was a whirlwind of learning and exploration as I delved into the world of computational research, specifically in the realms of photovoltaics and microscopic image processing. What made this journey truly remarkable was the incredible collaboration with Dr. Saquib Ahmed's research group at SUNY Buffalo University. Working with this group, I developed a methodology to identify the number of graphene layers from optical images and ventured into the fascinating world of molecular dynamics simulations to understand supercapacitor performance under varying parameters. My passion lies at the intersection of material science, renewable energy, and computational technology. As I step into the realm of post-graduate studies, I'm eager to further explore these material systems through data-driven computational studies and hands-on experimentation.
